The spring is in the air! What might be better than a stroll through the park, organising a picknic or just sitting in one of Riga cafés with a newly bought book? But where to find a book in Riga written or translated into a foreign language? Luckily, it is not a problem at all! There are several book stores and book store chains in Riga, where it is possible to buy such books.

First of all, in Jāņa Rozes grāmatnīca (https://www.janisroze.lv) there is a department with books in foreign language (literature, arts, design books).

There is also Roberts Books store (http://www.robertsbooks.lv/) on Dzirnavu street, which sells the books in English.

It is worth to visit Valters un Rapa book store, for example in the Old town (https://www.valtersunrapa.lv).

For academic literature, books for foreign language learners it is better to visit Globuss (www.gramatnicaglobuss.lv).

The most local book store with literature mostly in Latvian is Nice Place mansards (www.niceplace.lv).

Besides the above mentioned there is also a new book store on Miera Street, which is called Mr. Page (www.mrpage.lv). There you will find a big choice of modern books, including art and literature topics.

The biggest book store chains are often located in the shopping malls. The smaller ones are located in Riga centre.
